Do not buy anything from Gree. I purchased a Gree mini split unit on Feb. 29, 2020. One of the inside units developed numerous leaks in the coil. Hired a certified Gree contractor to verify the unit needed to be repaired or replaced. He contacted the Gree company and they have given him, and me, nothing but the run around. The unit I purchased was properly registered and I received notice from Gree the unit was under warranty. Gree is not a reputable company and I certainly do not recommend dealing with them. I have had to purchase another HVAC system (not a Gree). Gree has not even offered to reimburse me the expense I incurred with my contractor in determining the Gree unit needed to be replace. Gree stated they do not make this particular unit anymore, and offered no solution for warranting the unit.
