I was charged $1,199.00 for a "Package Cleaning" after being told I had mold that was causing health issues (coughing/sneezing). The technician was here for a very short time, sprayed some "sanitizing" chemicals installed a UV light, and left.
The evaporator coils, the most critical part of the AC for air quality, are still completely impacted with black mold, dust, and debris. He did not brush them, he did not flush them, and he did not clean them. He simply sprayed chemicals over the dirt.
They pushed for payment via Zelle specifically so I couldn’t dispute the charge through a credit card.
