I scheduled my annual A/C maintenance a week in advance and even took the extra step of calling the service department the day before to confirm. I was explicitly assured that the technician would arrive between 8:00, 8:30 AM, and was told that despite any general arrival window, the technician would be there at that specific time.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
No technician arrived during the agreed timeframe. When I followed up, I was placed on hold while they contacted the technician, only to be told he would arrive an additional 30, 45 minutes later, completely disregarding the confirmed appointment time.
This level of miscommunication and lack of reliability is unacceptable, especially for a service that costs $299 for annual maintenance.
For comparison, I contacted Al Fresco, a well-known and experienced company in the Brickell area, which offers the same service for $165. And they were more professional over the phone.
Based on this experience, I will not be using QUAMEC again. Extremely unprofessional. And please no need to reply with apologies or asking to contact you guys or any excuses. I called yesterday and even planned this a week in advance. Consumers please go somewhere else and you can thank me later.
