Nationwide Hvac Corp

HVAC Contractor in Miami

1.8 stars, 5 reviews via Google

Nationwide Hvac Corp is an HVAC contractor based in downtown Miami, Florida, serving Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah; hours are not listed, so calling ahead is recommended.

About Nationwide Hvac Corp

On Southwest 2nd Avenue in downtown Miami, Nationwide Hvac Corp operates out of Suite 401 as a general HVAC contractor, the classification listed for both its primary and sub-category. That broad HVAC designation covers the range of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning work a Miami-Dade household might need, from a cooling system that has stopped blowing cold air to ductwork or a thermostat issue tied to a home's broader HVAC setup.

The company's posted hours are not listed, so residents interested in service should call ahead to confirm current availability and scheduling rather than assuming a fixed weekday window. Downtown Miami's Southwest 2nd Avenue address places the business within reach of Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah, along with the surrounding downtown and Brickell-adjacent blocks. Air conditioning carries a heavier load in Miami-Dade than in most of the country, since the cooling season runs nearly year-round and humidity adds strain to coils, drain lines, and blower components that a drier climate would spare.

Hurricane season brings its own pressure on HVAC systems, as storm-related power interruptions or debris can leave a unit needing service on short notice. A general HVAC contractor like Nationwide Hvac Corp is the kind of listing a homeowner might turn to for a range of issues under one roof rather than searching separately for a cooling specialist and a ventilation specialist. Anyone in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, or Hialeah considering HVAC work can call (877) 910-4822 to ask what the company currently has available, including whether same-day or emergency appointments can be arranged, since hours are not posted publicly.

Top rated

Contacted Nationwide after our AC stopped working. The system was quite old so we decided to replace it. They were able to install a brand new system in less than two days. Customer Service was top notch and their technicians were on time.

I bought three units in 2019. All were installed the same day. I never asked to see the permit, assuming they had ordered it. The long story is that I later discovered they had not, and had to work directly with the holder of their contractor's license to resolve this. I paid for the work the inspector required – improper labeling, wiring and other issues, including the units needed to be removed and reinstalled to replace the rusty drip pans and rotten old wood they placed these units on – the original installers did not replace those items…keep in mind this was a $25k project. As for service they did respond quickly when both thermostats failed and replaced them under warranty. The units they installed were a Trane XR16 Single stage that works like a champ but is a little loud, and two Trane XV20i systems. These are quiet and efficient. One is somewhat reliable and the other is garbage, down monthly at least. I have (since) read the most important choice you make installing AC is not the unit – I researched them all and chose these. As for the contractor, I didn't do enough due diligence on them, trusted them to both handle the permit and inspection and give me quality installation, neither of which happened, and I can not recommend them. In fact, no contractor should begin a $25k job without a permit or leave before inspection is complete. Therefore I recommend strongly you hire somebody else.
