AC Repair in Miami

4.5 stars, 34 reviews via Google

Evo air is a Miami air conditioning contractor handling repair and cooling plant work, open weekdays 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, serving Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah.

About Evo air

An early start defines Evo air's schedule: the Miami company lists hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday closed, a pattern that lines up with a field crew getting ahead of the day's heat rather than a traditional nine-to-five office schedule. Evo air is classified as an air conditioning contractor, with subtypes covering air conditioning repair service, general HVAC contracting, and cooling plant work, the last of which points to experience with larger or more complex cooling systems beyond a single residential unit.

That mix suggests the company can handle a straightforward home AC repair as well as work scaled up for bigger properties or systems with a central cooling plant setup. The business operates out of SW 133rd Court in Miami and its service area reaches into nearby Miami-Dade communities including Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah. Because the listed hours stop at 4:30 PM and do not extend into evenings or weekends, homeowners with an after-hours emergency will need to look elsewhere for immediate help or wait until the next weekday morning.

Miami-Dade's air conditioning systems run under sustained demand for most of the year, and equipment serving larger properties or systems, the kind of work the cooling plant subtype suggests, tends to need more specialized diagnosis than a single split unit. Homeowners and property managers in Miami, Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah looking to schedule with Evo air can call (305) 760-9386 or visit evo-air.com during its weekday hours to discuss the specific job before booking.

I had a fantastic experience with EVo Air Conditioner and Ivaylo Enchesv. He’s an incredibly trustworthy person who truly loves his work. The job was done efficiently, with great attention to detail. Everything was left clean and tidy, and the quality of the installation was top-notch.

On top of that, the service was very affordable without compromising on quality. If you’re looking for someone reliable who takes pride in their work, I highly recommend Ivaylo and EVo Air Conditioner. Amazing job all around!

Excellent service. Greg quickly assessed the problem and had my ac up and running immediately

Office staff and technicians are wonderful to work with. They saved me thousands last year when another company said I needed to replace my system. Called today for a non-emergent matter and they prioritizes the issue and sent out a technician. Highly recommend.

Most critical

While the company was quick to install the unit, any request for follow-up service was met with evasive responses. I was told three separate times to “call back in 3-4 weeks,” only to eventually be informed they were outright refusing service. On top of that, their pricing is excessive – they even charge for travel time to your location. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone seeking reliable support or fair pricing.

DO NOT go to EvoAir for any AC services.
I bought a brand new unit less than two years ago from EvoAir and noticed that it wasn’t cooling properly, so I gave them a call to ask why this would happen since the unit was so new. I thought it could be a refrigerant leakage and since they were the ones that installed the unit, I felt they were responsible for the issue.

The customer service rep told me that there wasn’t much she could do because they would need to be on site to run a diagnostic test by a technician. That was a reasonable response, but she wasn’t too friendly about it.

She told me that if I wanted to schedule an appointment, it’d be $175 an hour for a minimum of two hours PLUS any additional materials. I thought that was WAYY too expensive…

I called around and found another company that had better customer service support, was more reasonably priced and actually addressed my concerns.

As it turns out, EvoAir installed the unit incorrectly the first time around – just as I had suspected. The service tech from the other company explained that the water in and water out tubing were in the wrong place and that was the problem with my unit not cooling correctly. What happened was that one of the tubes wasn’t long enough to put the water in and water out in the correct places, but rather than address the issue by getting a longer tube that would ensure the new unit was installed correctly, the service tech from EvoAir just installed them in the wrong place out of convenience.

EvoAir should have been more empathetic to my situation and should have done more to address the issue rather than just tell me that “they couldn’t do anything until a service tech showed up” for an over inflated fee.

Since the fix from their competitor, my AC Unit has been cooling faster and more efficiently than before.

Save your money and go with someone else who will actually do a good job…

I REPEAT DO NOT go to EvoAir for their services….

My wife and I used Evo-Air to fix the air conditioning unit in our condo. We have a 2 year old toddler and my wife is currently pregnant. Our current circumstances make it nearly impossible to have any sort of comfort at home without air conditioning in the South Florida heat. After several days, a tech finally came out to “fix” our unit. They blamed the delay on the basis that the job would take 6 hours and that our condo building would allow them in the building for that long. Laughable. Well, the tech “fixed” our unit and the repair lasted ALMOST 24 hours before breaking again. My toddler and pregnant wife are AGAIN without air conditioning. The funny part about this story is that the tech assured us before leaving that only a “freak accident” could cause the unit to fail again within the next year. Well sir, the only freak accident around here is your company and anyone dumb enough to hire you. If I could rate zero stars I could. Consumer beware!
