Duct Masters charges $249 for a visit. They came out the next day. They quoted me $10,000 for a complete replacement of my ducts (installed in 2023) because there were a few holes and tears in the ducts. They incited fear in me, stating the inspector should have caught that they were not elevated enough, they blamed poor installation, there was an obvious rodent issue that led to the bigger issues so they played on that.
The reality is the ducts did not need a full replacement. They could be repaired. But they did not offer that. Instead Willy, tried to psychologically manipulate me a number of ways, none of which ultimately worked. But all in all I found them to be grimy and untrustworthy.
My AC had been running at about 82 on very hot days because I was losing cold air to the attic.
I found another HVAC specialist on thumbtack or Takl. They came out for $89, waived that fee. Repaired all my ducts, cleaned my AC, and now AC is at 72 mid day! The cost was $1200. 10% of this quite.
Duct Masters did not want to solve my AC issue. They wanted to sell new ducts and prey on us and our family.
I do not recommend using this company as they put profits over families and resolution to the actual issue.
