Daizuki

HVAC Contractor in Miami

4.7 stars, 263 reviews via Google

Daizuki is an air conditioning store and equipment supplier in Miami, Florida, open weekdays and serving Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah.

About Daizuki

Daizuki's Google listing combines two related categories, air conditioning store and air conditioning system supplier, both centered on getting cooling equipment into the hands of customers rather than dispatching repair technicians. The business operates from 10914 NW 33rd St in Miami on a standard weekday schedule, open 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and closed on both weekend days. That kind of schedule is typical of a business built around retail and supply transactions rather than around-the-clock service calls.

For a homeowner or contractor shopping for a new air conditioning system, a store-and-supplier combination like this one can serve as a single stop for both selecting equipment and sourcing it, which can simplify a replacement project that would otherwise mean coordinating between a separate retailer and installer. Miami-Dade's cooling season runs long enough that AC units across the county see heavy use almost year round, and that steady runtime is a major factor in how often a system needs to be replaced rather than simply repaired.

Salt air along the coast and general humidity inland both add to the wear on outdoor equipment, pushing more of the county's households toward full replacements over time. Daizuki's listed service area covers Miami Beach, Coral Gables, and Hialeah in addition to Miami itself, a spread that touches beachfront, older inland, and densely built residential neighborhoods alike. Each of those areas has its own equipment needs, from smaller condo units near the coast to larger central systems in single-family homes further inland.

Customers interested in available equipment, a system quote, or general questions about what Daizuki carries can call (800) 226-9550 during the posted Monday-through-Friday hours.

We have the 18K Mini Split installed in our garage. We also insulated the ceiling and the garage doors. It's very hot and humid in southwest Florida, and now our garage stays around 70 degrees.

Most critical

I can't recommend the Daizuki Split Type Air Conditioner based on my experience.
Our unit is less than two years old and has already suffered two compressor failures. The most recent failure left the unit blowing warm air and making excessive noise. Our AC technician diagnosed the compressor as having an internal mechanical problem.
The first compressor failure occurred only a few months earlier. We then had to wait several weeks for a replacement compressor because we were repeatedly told the parts system was down, and eventually had to go to collect the replacement compressor ourselves as they couldn’t ship it (we live an hour away from their location).
When the compressor failed again, we expected the warranty to cover the repair. Instead, after weeks of repeated follow-up calls, we were told the warranty claim had been denied. We were given reasons that we believe are unsupported.
The most disappointing part of this experience is the fact that we are now forced to buy a new air conditioner to replace one which is less than 2 years old (supposedly within the warranty period) after incurring almost $800 for an AC tech to replace the first failed compressor 2 months ago. All this after being left, once again, without air conditioning for a few weeks waiting for support to let us know what was going on. Needless to say the new AC we buy will not be a Daizuki.
Based on the reliability of the unit and the warranty support we've experienced, I would never purchase another Daizuki air conditioner and would encourage others to carefully consider both product reliability and after-sales service before buying.

The compressor will break down within a year, don't waste your money on this.
