We reached out to your company August 6th for an order we needed.
We did not get the quote we requested until August 26, 20 days later.
We then placed the order August 28th.
Emails were not efficient for us to get an answer so we had to call a couple of times to get some answers for an order acknowledgement.
When we finally did, we were told our resale certificate was not valid unless we applied for a credit account.
We didn’t want to apply for credit, we just wanted to pay the order in full and appropriately be tax exempt.
Again we received no response to our request to review if this was correct or just company policy.
After some more calls we were told this was enforced, our resale certificate was no good unless we created an account. This is the only company that has required us to create an account to be tax exempt.
When trying to apply for an account, the credit manager questioned why we filled out the information the way we did even though it was correct, they made it really difficult to place an order. I was delighted to heard another South Florida distributor carried the brand SUPCo and offered us better pricing but much more importantly better customer service.Its very frustrating when internal policy trumps common sense.
