Air Systems A/C LLC
HVAC Contractor in Opa-locka
Air Systems A/C LLC is an HVAC contractor in Opa-locka open long hours seven days a week, serving Miami Gardens, Hialeah, and North Miami.
About Air Systems A/C LLC
Air Systems A/C LLC operates out of Opa-locka as an HVAC contractor, with a schedule built around long weekday and Saturday hours: 8 AM to 7 PM Monday through Saturday, then a shorter 8 AM to 5 PM window on Sunday. That eleven-hour weekday span is longer than a typical nine-to-five shop, giving residents room to schedule a visit before or after a standard workday. As an HVAC contractor, the company's work generally spans the mechanical side of central air conditioning, from diagnosing a system that is not cooling properly to the kind of maintenance and equipment work that keeps a unit running through Miami-Dade's long cooling season.
From its NW 133rd Street address, Air Systems A/C LLC sits within reach of Miami Gardens, Hialeah, and North Miami, three of the more densely populated communities in the northern part of the county, each a short drive from Opa-locka. Being open every day of the week, including a Sunday slot, is useful for homeowners who cannot take time off during the work week to meet a technician, or whose system fails right before the start of a hot weekend.
The listing does not include information on certifications, years in operation, or specific equipment brands carried, so residents interested in those specifics should raise them directly in a phone call rather than assume anything not stated here. To reach the company, the listed number is (305) 681-1040, and given the long weekday hours, calling during the day is more likely to connect than an early morning or late-night attempt outside the posted schedule.

I had Air Systems AC perform a coil cleaning on my air conditioning system, and I couldn't be happier with the service. The technician was professional, punctual, and took the time to explain the condition of my system and the benefits of a thorough coil cleaning. The work was completed efficiently, and everything was left clean and tidy afterward. My AC is cooling better and running more efficiently than before. I highly recommend Air Systems AC to anyone looking for honest, quality HVAC service. Thank you for a job well done!

Rene and his company have been the only A/C and mechanical contractor we use at Honeyman Project Management. For the past two years, they have worked on every remodeling project we have completed, and they have always done a great job.
As a project manager in the Miami construction industry, I have worked with many contractors over the years, and Rene is one of the few I recommend without hesitation. I continue to refer him and his team to my clients even after our projects are finished.
They are responsive, reliable, and always willing to help. What I appreciate most is that they focus on solving the problem the right way instead of trying to sell unnecessary work or charge as much as possible. They take the time to explain options and recommend what is best for the client.
Good communication, quality work, and honest service are hard to find, and that is exactly what Rene and his team provide. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy HVAC contractor.

Most critical
I am writing this review after living with the results of this installation for nearly nine years, which is more than enough time to judge whether a major HVAC decision was handled honestly and in my best interest.
In 2016, I clearly requested a Rheem system. During the sales process, Rene, the owner and salesman, pushed me hard away from what I asked for and insisted that I install a York unit instead. I was told it was equivalent and that my concern did not matter.
Looking back, the experience felt misleading and manipulative. At the time, I trusted the professional standing in front of me. After nearly a decade of problems, I am left with the strong feeling that I was talked into a system that benefited the installer more than the homeowner. Whether intentional or not, it absolutely felt like a bait-and-switch.
That decision has cost me years of frustration.
Since installation, this system has been a recurring and expensive problem:
Multiple condenser fan motor failures.
Multiple air handler blower motor and fan replacements.
Repeated service calls with labor charges even when parts were under manufacturer warranty.
Excessive and intrusive outdoor noise, including a constant compressor whine directly outside a bedroom wall.
Ongoing reliability issues that are far beyond what I consider acceptable for a residential AC system.
In addition to equipment failures, the installation quality itself has caused real and avoidable expense. A filter drier had to be replaced years later, and the technician explained that because of how it was originally installed in the refrigerant circuit, they could not recover and reuse the refrigerant. The system had to be fully evacuated and recharged, which significantly increased the cost. I was specifically told that if the original installation had been done correctly, this expense could have been avoided.
There were also multiple basic installation issues that should never happen on a professional job:
The outdoor condenser was installed without proper rubber isolation or vibration padding.
The condenser was not fully level.
The indoor air handler has vibrated excessively over the years.
Overall workmanship has resulted in noise, vibration, and premature wear.
Yes, the unit cools. That is the bare minimum. Long-term ownership has been noisy, expensive, and stressful, and the constant noise alone has affected comfort and sleep for years. This is not what I expected after being assured the system was “just as good.”
My takeaway after living with this system for nearly a decade is simple: I should have trusted my instincts and chosen a different company.
My advice to future customers is very clear:
Do not let yourself be pressured into equipment you did not ask for. Insist on the brand you want, get multiple quotes, and walk away if your concerns are dismissed. If I had to do it over again, I would not use Air Systems A/C LLC.

DO NOT BUY AN A/C SYSTEM FROM THESE GUYS UNLESS YOU DO NOT EXPECT IT DONE CORRECTLY, DO NOT WANT ANY SUPPORT, AND PLAN ON HIRING ANOTHER A/C CONTRACTOR TO REPAIR THEIR MISTAKES.
I purchased a Goodman A/C from Rene in 2013. Within the 1st month the rotor kept locking up. He came by a couple times but could not repair it. Five years later and we still have to reset the breaker when the rotor locks. About 6 months after installation the ceiling started bubbling under the air handler. Rene sent out a tech and charged me to out in another chunk of money to install a new pan. The ceiling continued to bubble but Rene stopped answering me. I had to hire another A/C company to redo the insulation, cut out the ceiling, have it all repaired. DO NOT USE AIR SYSTEMS AC
