SERVPRO of Doral

Duct Cleaning in Doral

4.9 stars, 64 reviews via Google

SERVPRO of Doral is a water damage and fire restoration franchise offering air duct cleaning among its services, with 24-hour response across Doral, Sweetwater, Fontainebleau, and Hialeah Gardens.

About SERVPRO of Doral

SERVPRO of Doral is not, first and foremost, an air conditioning company. Water damage restoration service is the primary classification on record, and the fuller list of subtypes, building restoration, carpet cleaning, fire damage restoration, debris removal, graffiti removal, and waste management among them, makes clear this is a restoration and cleaning franchise. Air duct cleaning service does appear on that list, which is the specific point of overlap with home HVAC systems, but a homeowner should not read this listing as a general AC repair option.

The duct cleaning connection matters in a practical sense: after a water event, a fire, or significant debris in a home, ductwork often needs attention alongside the rest of the property, either because moisture or soot has entered the system or because the same crew handling structural cleanup can address it in the same visit. That differs from a standalone HVAC contractor cleaning ducts as routine maintenance; here it sits inside a broader restoration scope.

Located on NW 79th Avenue in Doral, the franchise lists 24-hour availability every day of the week, a schedule that fits the emergency nature of water and fire damage response more than routine appointment-based service. Sweetwater, Fontainebleau, and Hialeah Gardens sit near enough to Doral to fall within a plausible response radius for this kind of work. Homeowners across those communities dealing with water intrusion, fire or smoke aftermath, or ductwork affected by either can call (305) 594-2956.

Anyone looking specifically for routine air conditioning repair or maintenance, separate from a restoration event, is better served confirming by phone whether that falls within what this location handles.

The crew cleaned everything up so so well after our AC unit leaked everywhere and honestly I didn't even mean to write this much but they really deserve it

Called them back in June for water damage in our office breakroom. Crew arrived same day and brought in industrial fans and dehumidifiers. Took about four days total. Everything dried out properly. Floor had to be replaced but that was expected. They documented the whole process with photos and notes. Billing came through clean with no surprises. Would use again if needed.

Called these guys after a kitchen flood and honestly very very impressed with how fast things moved. Within a few hours someone showed up with the equipment and handled the water extraction. Back in Chicago we waited days for this kind of response. The restoration work left everything dry and clean, documentation was thorough for the insurance claim which made that whole process so much easier. Definitely worth every dollar we spent.

I don't know how this company is in business. There was a busted pipe in my idiot upstairs neighbor's condo and my condo(which I use as rental property)got all the water damage. I had no luck with getting a company to come and extract water from my condo so I contacted my insurance company to help me get assistance. I was contacted by my insurance company a few days later and they informed me that they contacted a company they used named, Serpro of Doral and they would be contacting me to set up an appointment to extract the water from my carpet. They even said they would pay for it (even though my deductible was hugh). I received a phone call from a guy named Carlos Galindo and we set up an appointment on 12/30/22. I live down the street from my rental property so we met that afternoon on 12/30/22. When I arrived at the front gate, I couldn't locate Carlos. The reason was, I was looking for a professional business vehicle of some sort because as I said, they were supposed to go to my condo to extract water that had been in my carpet for almost a week. That's when I find out from Carlos that he wasn't there to do any work, just an inspection. The same "inspection" that my insurance adjuster is responsible for doing. Even after I told Carlos my insurance company said they would pay them to extract the water that day, Carlos told me he would inspect and then get approval from my insurance company. Later that day, I gave Carlos a phone call after I talked to my insurance adjuster, and gave Carlos his number so he could start water extraction. I also let Carlos know I was only interested in having them extract the water from my carpet. I never heard from Carlos again. The only feedback I received from Carlos was an email with an inflated bill for work my insurance company or I didnt request from them. Carlos even had the nerve to say he wanted 50% of the money up front! That's a HARD NO! Carlos wasn't interested in doing anything but the ENTIRE job and making more money. It was ALL or nothing for Carlos. HE knew my home had water damage for almost a week and all he cared about was making top dollar. Forget the fact that my carpet had been soaked in water for almost a week. Carlos even had the nerve to have an "emergency" fee of $232.00, even though Serpro's response was anything but emergency-worthy. I decided to move on from that clown company and search for a real professional company. I decided to move on but Servpro didnt move on. Six days later I receive a phone call from a Servpro empoyee wanting to know "when can they get started on the job"??? REALLY???? Over the next (3) to (5) days, I received a total of (8) phone calls and texts from Servpro wanting to know when they could start on the job(a week later). I hung up on the last guy(Angel) and blocked those fools after the eighth time they contacted.
In summary, Servpro's primary goal should be saving homeowners' property from further damage. It's not. Servpro's primary goal is not only making money, but top dollar by forcing additional work on the homeowner that wasn't requested.

You respond 3 years later? Really? Not onky is it 3 years later but your response is BS. Authorization from my insurance company? My insurance company is the one who contacted this scamming company. So of course Carlos had authorization. I even offered, begged Carlos to extract the water and I would pay out of pocket myself and get reimbursed from my insurance company. The idiot Carlos dismissed me.BTW, I've owntwo homes for more than30 years and I'vedefinitelybeen throughthis process before. I know scamming companies when I encounter them. If I ever need any work done on either of my properties, whether my insurance is involved or not, I will steer clear of Servpro. Ridiculous!
