Unfortunately, the customer service representative who answered the phone did not provide a professional customer experience.
I called simply to schedule an estimate. I was asked if I was the homeowner, and I clearly answered yes. Then I was repeatedly asked if the person making the decisions would be present. I explained multiple times that I am the homeowner and I am the one who makes the decisions, yet the representative continued questioning me.
I completely understand that companies want decision-makers present during estimates, but once a customer has clearly answered the question, repeatedly asking the same thing comes across as disrespectful and unprofessional.
Instead of making me feel like a valued potential customer, I felt like my answers weren’t being believed. Because of this experience, I decided not to move forward with the appointment. The first phone call should make customers feel welcomed and respected, not questioned after they’ve already answered.
